My passion for working with youth and their families has inspired me to pursue a career in clinical social work. I am a social worker who has a heart for the social, emotional, and educational well-being and flourishing of youth. I am thrilled to be joining the Milestones Psychology team that is committed to the growth and success of families as they face the challenges and joys of life.

Having a background in community-based agencies has shaped my approach to working with children. As families do not operate in isolated situations, I am eager to work with families in setting-specific scenarios in the home and community to provide support in real time. My experience with youth from early childhood to young adults has emphasized the importance of tailoring treatment goals to each unique child and family while also being mindful of developmental milestones. Coming from a setting working with children with high medical, mental health, and developmental needs and child welfare involvement, I am sensitive to supporting families navigating trauma, grief, and loss. I bring a trauma-informed care approach to my work with all families.

While maintaining strengths-based focus on the child, I believe the collaboration with caregivers, school teams, and the support system of the child is crucial. Partnering with caregivers and providers equips the whole family system to feel supported and channels the protective factors already present.

As a clinician, I bring a sense of playfulness to the consistent implementation of evidence-based practices that promotes safety and growth. In treatment, I aim to create an environment that empowers families and children to foster their resilience and make real change to achieve their goals.
