Jessica Weiss Brown, PsyD
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
As a psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families, my primary goal is providing individualized, evidence-based care, across home and school settings. I am passionate about providing the highest quality care and support for the families I work with while helping them navigate a variety of challenges.
The majority of my work is focused on working with children, adolescents, and young adults who struggle with both internalizing and externalizing difficulties such as anxiety disorders, OCD, mood disorders, ADHD, and disruptive behavioral disorders. A crucial aspect of my work is also focused on parenting interventions to strengthen the parent-child relationship, improve the dynamic in the home environment, and increase parental confidence in handling challenging situations. I value the importance of collaborating with teachers, school psychologists, school staff, support services, and external providers to generalize treatment gains across settings.
I have received extensive training in evidence-based assessment and interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Parent Management Training (PMT), and Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE). I am also a trauma-informed therapist with experience supporting families through complex dynamics and family system challenges.
I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and their parents acquire the tools necessary to succeed and allow them to reach their full potential.
