Neuropsychological Postdoctoral Fellow
I am delighted to have the opportunity to work with Milestones Psychology Group as a Neuropsychology Post-Doctoral Fellow. The Milestones team has been an integral part of my development as a competent, compassionate and well-rounded clinician. I continue to be inspired by this group of clinician’s quest to support children’s learning and development through strength-based evaluations.
My experience includes 13 years of conducting psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations in schools, hospitals, and private practice settings with children and young adults. I have developed expertise in assessing learning disabilities, attention problems and language-based disorders. My goal is to help children, their parents and their schools understand the cognitive, social and emotional factors that affect children’s quality of life in school and at home. What I find most helpful about evaluations is that they provide information that can be used to develop tailored, practical interventions to help children flourish based on their specific, individual needs.
After working with families for many years, I understand that the decision to proceed with an evaluation can impart many questions and uncertainties. I therefore strive to make the assessment process as collaborative and supportive as possible.
